Every year the North American Hunting Club conducts testing on a
multitude of outdoor and hunting related products. In the 2006 field study

Virginia Tech scientists recently developed and conducted a test to measure the effectiveness of scent elimination on a variety of common, hard to treat,
scents. The study tested the most common scent elimination hunting products
available today - TRUCarbonTM, SilverXP, Scent Eradicator, Scent Killer,
White Lightning, Dead Down Wind, and D.O.A. Eradicator. Each product
received the same unbiased tests against scents of urine, garlic, sweat, and
coffee. Of those tests, TRUCarbonTM proved an average percent of 99.7%
effectiveness, while all the others combined averaged 92.98%. Throughout
all scent testing, TRUCarbonTM proved to be the most effective scent
eliminator of all, period.
